A retail platform with inventory tracking, barcode scanning, database replication, and transactional workflows.
The problem
Multi-mart retail operations require consistent inventory and sales workflows even when concurrent users and operational retries put pressure on the system.
The approach
I worked across the Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma, MongoDB, and Redis layers, using ACID transactions and read-replica patterns for the relevant workloads.
