An e-commerce system using asynchronous messaging, independent service scaling, and read-replica patterns.
The problem
The marketplace architecture needed to separate workloads and communicate asynchronously while maintaining deliberate consistency trade-offs.
The approach
I designed services around Kafka event streaming, RabbitMQ task queues, PostgreSQL replicas, MongoDB Atlas, and load-balanced horizontal scaling.
